Explaining the pibble/geeble universe to a friend

(YMMV) Learning about pibble was the first time I felt kind of old and out-of-the-loop in a not-fun way. My 20 year old cousin explained Pibble to me and apparently there is a whole extended pibble universe, including geebles which is a green alien pibble. I brought up Pibble to a friend last night and she was like “what the fuck are you talking about,” I tried to find an explanation video but nothing exists that is truly comprehensive. The best I could do was offer her these YouTube shorts of somebody drawing different pibbles, and the way that this specific one bounces into frame really gets me every time.
