Sweet Prince Tomato Tin

An individual pack of these tinned tomatoes is $10 and I am waiting for a particularly celebratory moment to strike so I can justify repurchasing them. I’m not even a tomato fanatic like that, but these were delicious enough that I ate them alone straight out of the can and saved the baguette I bought for them for later. They’re the perfect sweetness with a bright little bite from the vinegar, and the olive oil comes in subtly right at the end. For two days afterwards, I fantasized about the them so hard I think I tricked myself into believing I could taste them again.
